Can you believe that it has been one year since the new BoD has taken over? Time has just flown by. There have been many changes over the year, some good, some maybe not so good. The one thing that has remained constant is the energy as we move forward. We have already started to receive a flood of inquiries from dealers who are looking forward to showing up at the September convention. This is good news as we are really looking forward to making the move to a 2-day convention. The support of the dealers will be crucial to a successful convention. It also means more places for you to "turn your gold into lead."

I think we have picked a good weekend for the upcoming convention, and like Gamecon 16 we are inviting all types of gamers to come and join us. I think everyone was glad to see the board gamers, and card games at Gamecon 16 and we are hoping to add ancients' tournaments and several other groups to the mix.

By the way don't forget to check out the NoVAG yahoo group. It has really helped gamers get in touch with other gamers, as well as share ideas. There have been some real doozies discussed in that forum. I look forward to seeing you all at the Gamecon 17, and remember there is an election so please vote.
