I have just put up five or six armies for Day Of Battle during the age of Charlemagne.

DOB is about the same game level as WRG 6th edition was. 1 Figure is 25 men and 1" is 10 yards. It also uses WRG basing (yippee).

The emphasis is on the leader and his role in the field. I have always felt that the role of this man was always overlooked in every other non-skirmish level game I have ever seen or played.

I am not trying to sell you DOB, just ask you to look at the site where you will hopefully find something you'll like.
