Tom Johnson announces a convention to be held in Eau Claire, WI (USA) June 22nd through the 25th 2000. The convention is centered and dedicated to the Europa series of games by GR/D.
This 4 day event will feature 24 hour gaming, 2 banquets, an on-site games store, and a book store. It will also feature talks on Europa related topics by the guest speakers. Currently scheduled to be present are:
- David Glantz, Walter Dunn, Charles Sharp, Robert Doughty, Jonathan House, James Goff, and David Wesely.
Cost for the convention (all 4 days, all talks, and the banquets) $60.00.
Hotel rooms are currently available (but going fast) at the Eau Claire Holiday Inn (Downtown), located 5 blocks from the convention site (the closest place). These rooms are priced at $80 per night, with from 1 to 4 persons per room at that price.
Eau Claire (The sight of EuropaFest 1 in 1989) is 90 miles due East of Minneapolis /St. Paul MN. It is located on Interstate 94, and does have regular air service.
