Piquet Releases Scheduled for Historicon '99

The biggest item will be PKassist by Cris Abbey a complete computer program with a whole new paradigm for computer/board interaction. We have a live demo at the booth. This based on PKII and features a complete army generation tool as well as taking care of all the standard PK functions! $35 with compatability with all supplements.

Grand Piquet by Jim Mauro will be available, if the printer helps out. We will have a proof of POA2 which will be released soon after the show. This upgrade is superb. At Fall-in'99 Piquet will be running continuous POA scenarios and all games will be focused on this tremendous rule set.

Playtests Scheduled for Historicon '99

A playtest of Skybabies (WWII aerial Piquet) by Allen Martin will be run Saturday at 2:00 PM in Vista C.

We are planning on having some Barrage playtests at Historicon '99. We will be fighting several Russian Civil War battles. The plan is to meet at 5:00 Thrusday night at the PK booth and go have a round table to discuss Barrage and plan for a weekend of playtesting.

Tournaments Scheduled for Historicon '99

An Archon double elimination tournement will be run in Vista C starting at 9:00 AM Friday until conclusion. Prizes awarded. Standard Archon rules-Late Rome vs. Gaul. GET ALL MATERIALS IN VISTA C AFTER 3:00 PM ON THURSDAY. We have room for up to 24 players. We need 12 minimum

Seminars Scheduled for Historicon '99

1.Thursday at 2:00 PM for 1 hour -Bob Jones and Jim Getz-"Game theory of Piquet and internal logic of the game."-Vista C
