1999 Schedule of Events: Medieval and Ancient Warfare

COLD WARS: April 16-18.

A Medieval Warfare demo game of the Battle of Durazzo, 1081 A.D. Normans under Robert Guiscard vrs. Byzantines under Alexius Comnenus. Ten players maximum. Dave Bonk will be putting on a Medieval Warfare demo with Germans vrs. Poles in 25mm. Bruce and I will be putting on an Ancient Warfare demo game on Saturday.

HAVOC XV: May 15-16.

Mitch Abrams will be putting on Ancient Warfare games featuring Greco-Bactrians vrs. the Seleucids of Perdiccas. Times to be announced.

SIEGE OF SYRACUSE: June 5.

Medieval Warfare demo with Teutonic Knights vrs. Burgundians (25mm).

HISTORICON: July 21-25.

A Medieval Warfare tournament on Friday. Three rounds of three hours each. 600 point armies from any of the updated army lists (e-mail me at tlgore@frontiernet). This is a fun, low-intensity tournament with prizes from The Foundry, Jeff Ball and SAGA.

Liegnitz: A massive Medieval Warfare demo. The famous battle to save the West. Dave Bonk and Jeff Ball will be putting this one on Saturday. Updates as we near convention date. Medieval Warfare demos by Bruce Taylor, Mitch Abrams and Terry Gore. Times TBA.

FALL IN: Nov 5-7.

Ancient Warfare demo games. Medieval Warfare demo games.
