Peter Corless Meet Gene Billingsly, President of GMT Games, as well as best-selling techno- thriller author Larry Bond, designer of Command At Sea and Harpoon, and Dave Arneson, co-designer of Dungeons & Dragons (whose first love has always been historical gaming). They will be running games as guests of honor at the second annual Celebrate History, a unique event that blends wargaming with seminars, displays, WWII fighter aces, the youngest U-boat commander of WWII, Chosin Reservoir survivors, 8th Air Force Bomber crewmen, a dealer room (including Brookhurst Hobbies, Geo Hex, Moments in History, Scenic Effects, etc.), re-enactors, music, dance, and more! Celebrate History takes place one week after Easter, April 9-11, 1999, at the South San Francisco Conference Center and adjacent hotels. Admission is just $40 in advance for the entire weekend.
