Napoleonic Battle Re-Enactment

We received the following press release.--RL

This is to announce a Napoleonic Battle event June 12-14, 1998 in Baltimore, Maryland.

The event is being put on by the Ballestone Manor Preservation Society and Brigade Napoléon. Proceeds will go to preserve historic Ballestone Manor in Baltimore.

The battlefield will be adjacent to historic Ballestone Manor on the shores of the Back River in Baltimore, Md.

The terrain is suitable for open-field tactics as well as a large scale skirmish. The ground is ideal for cavalry and displays of linear tactics and maneuver.

The event is open to the public, with ample parking and complete concession/food service on site.

Last year Brigade Napoléon staged its first Battle event near Gettysburg, Penn. There were 40 French troops - ten mounted Hussards, and over 100 British soldiers.
