We received the following: Dallas, TX 9/27/2004 - Huge happenings in Ego land! Magnificent Ego's is extremely proud to announce the newest addition to our team! Don Perrin has graciously agreed to take the position of Vice President of Operations for Magnificent Egos. Yes, DON PERRIN! Don's history with the industry goes back to the beginning of time. Aside from being a longtime industry veteran, Don is an accomplished author, game designer, business man and miniatures manufacturer. He is also the current President of the Game Manufacturers' Association (GAMA). "We are ecstatic to have Don on board" said Magnificent Ego's President Chris Clark. "Don is a strong leader and excellent tactician which is exactly what Magnificent Ego's needs as it takes its next steps as a company." Don's tenure begins effective immediately. He will be in charge of all sales, manufacturing and general operations for the company. "This is a company well on its way to great things, and I'm happy to be included in that path!" The best way to reach Don is via his Magnificent Ego's email address, thegeneral@magnificentegos.com. Don joins Creative Director and Partner Jason Engle; Master Mold Maker David Radford; Head Painter and Game Designer James Sooy to form the Magnificent Ego's Operations team. Magnificent Egos will be re-launching its website and announcing its Christmas release schedule shortly. Magnificent Egos has always prided itself on its direct communication with its supporters, so the website will be configured to allow for better interaction between customers and with the staff and directors of Magnificent Egos. The Christmas release schedule will bring a handful of large packages featuring some of the finest figures yet, including the dragon Razorwing and the twisted Eviscerator, both of which are garnering incredible preview reviews from critics and fans alike. Along with the new addition to the team comes several other big changes. Magnificent Ego's main foundry is moving to Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Along with this move, Magnificent Ego's is lowering its prices by an average of $2 per figure and switching to 100% lead-free pewter for miniature production. "Magnificent Ego's is reaffirming its commitment to quality by re-mastering its line, discontinuing sub-standard figures, and introducing technology to the industry that will allow for the production of the most beautiful and finely wrought figurines this side of the Atlantic. "With Jason Engle's creative direction and sculptors like Sandra Garrity and Bobby Jackson behind us, we are looking to bring renewed vigor to the American miniatures industry," said Don. Don and his staff at Magnificent Egos will now be handling all direct and wholesale sales for the company. Previously, Magnificent Egos was represented by Impressions Advertisings. "We owe Aldo Ghiozzi and Impressions a great deal for helping us get our foot in the door, but at this point it makes more sense for us to amicably part ways," commented Chris Clark.
