The War College, an integral part of Origins, offers a first-rate, front-row setting that encourages you not only relax and listen, but pepper the speaker with questions to get the information you want to hear. This is one-on-one knowledge at its best.
But there's more.
Each registered War College attendee receives, absolutely free, a complimentary membership to MagWeb.com!
That's right, you get a FREE "Quickie Peek" pass to explore MagWeb.com, the world's largest military history and wargaming on-line archive. With over 40,000 articles in the archive, there's more information covering warfare from ancient Egypt to modern Gulf War II than you can shake a mouse at. The "Quickie Peek" pass will be good for right after the show and it's all part of your War College registration.
But you must register for the MagWeb.com War College and pay for the entry ribbon--because it not only opens doors during the Origins convention, it will open 40,000 more afterwards.
OUR LECTURES...so far
Whether you attend all the lectures (and we encourage that!) or just a few sessions during some convention down time, you'll find a wide range of historical and contemporary topics to not only add to your knowledge, but to inspire your imagination.
What a line-up! You'll notice some old favorites. You'll notice some new names. You'll notice that the topics are spot on what a War College seminar should offer. Pete Panzeri, with the encouragement of the former War College organizer Jack Radey and Origins/GAMA, stepped forward to put together this preliminary list. Russ Lockwood, CEO of MagWeb.com, will MC and Host the event, and has tapped into MagWeb.com resources to help build a great program.
But wait, there will be more. We're talking to the USAF Museum at nearby Wright-Patterson AFB to send speakers. We're talking to numerous Veterans' groups to send speakers. We're talking to the US Army to lend us a few West Point-bound instructors. And we're talking to various publishers to send us authors. As we are months before the show, it's all preliminary at press time, but the War College is on the move. Pre-register for the War College now and just watch who we add to the speaker list! Keep up with the action at either the Origins website, MagWeb.com's web site (www.magweb.com), or join a Moderated Newsgroup: www.groups.yahoo.com/ORGINSWC
So, take a look at the preliminary line-up, and register for the MagWeb.com War College at Origins 2003! Excellent topics. Excellent speakers. And the Excellence continues after the show.
Times are tentative. As we get closer to the conference, we'll lock down the times.
