Napoleon in Europe will be launched in April; Civilization: The Boardgame will debut in August; and both The American Revolution and War! Blitzkrieg and Bombers will be released in the Fall. Eagle Games aims to immerse players in the excitement, flavor and period detail of the great eras in history. In 2002, gamers will be able to defeat Napoleon, fight for American Independence, conquer the world with blitzkrieg, or play the boardgame version of the greatest PC game of all time. “We want to continue to create boardgames with the highest production values in the industry,” said Glenn Drover, founder of Eagle Games. “We think our fans will find our new games a visual and tactile feast, with all the excitement and fun they’ve come to expect from Eagle Games.” The four new titles join Eagle Games’ original products, The American Civil War and War! Age of Imperialism. These two titles were launched in November 2001, to great critical and consumer acclaim. All Eagle Games products feature hundreds of professionally sculpted, plastic miniatures, and huge gameboards (46” x 36”) with gorgeous antique-style artwork by Paul Niemeyer. Additionally, the games have three sets of rules from easy to play Basic Rules to the more detailed Standard and Advanced.
