We received the following press release.--RL The Executive Board of Big Muddy is extending to you a chance to sell your goods at a November 16, 17, & 18, 2001 mini con, henceforth known as Command Con. It will be held at Jefferson Barrack Park, Grant’s Hall. The hall opens at 8:00 A. M. and closes at 10:00 P. M. on Friday November 16 & Saturday, November 17, and opens at 8:00 A.M. and closes at 5 P. M. on Sunday November 18. The cost per table will be $15.00 per table. You will be able to have up to four (4) tables for this Con. This will be a fantasy, science fiction and historical miniature con. Membership for one person comes with each table. If you are interested, please fill out the form at bottom and send with a check to Big Muddy HGA c/o William Doelling, 1410 Mohican Trail, St. Charles, Mo. 63304. In order to know how may tables we would need, we need this to be return by no later than November 1, 2001. This event will be in St. Louis, Mo. It is a park in South St. Louis. You can fly into Lambert Field, in St. Louis, Mo or Mid American Airport in Illinios, By Scott Air Force Base. Included below are direction and accommodations close to the park, hope that this is helpful. At our last year's Command Con, we have about 120 persons attemd. If a person pre registers, the cost is $7.50 for the weekend. If they come in on Friday, it is $10.00 for the weekend. By the day, the cost is Friday $3.00, Saturday, $4.00 and Sunday $3.00. Directions to Command Con: Jefferson Barracks, St Louis, MO Most maps of Missouri, or Road Atlases have a detail map of St Louis. Note that there is a ring road around St Louis, Interstate 270. Focus on the south portion of I-270, near the Illinois border, near the junction of 1-55 and 1-270. Exit I-270/I-255 at Telegraph Road. North on Telegraph Road. North on Jefferson Barracks Road, which becomes Sherman Ave. Follow Sherman Ave to Worth Ave. Follow Worth Ave to Gregg Road. Grant Shelter is on the Left, up the hill. Accommodations:
