In PrintHarpoon Fourth Edition is still in development. We expect it to be out by the end of 1996, although the production details haven't been locked in yet. Several supplements are being considered. An almost universal favorite would bring back the Cold War, covering the NATO and Soviet navies in the 1980s. Another, titled Shipwright, would allow players to design their own warships. Another would be an expansion of the rules to allow detailed sub-on sub combat. Command at Sea continues to grow. The Player's Handbook, a 32-page collection of all the charts and tables in the CaS Rules booklet and costing $4.95, is now available from Clash of Arms. Ed Kettler is finishing the Referee's Guide This 32-page booklet will be available by Origins in July. Supermarina, by John Gresham and Mike Markowitz, is also on track There is so much to cover in the Mediterranean that this first release will only cover the first third of the war. As a compensation to the players, though, the Data Annex booklet will cover the first and second supplements, so that the second release will have only a scenario booklet and the associated counter sheets. This will be cheaper than a big boxed game. After Supermarina, we are releasing a smaller supplement titled No Sailor but a Fool. Covering attacks on shore installations and coast defenses, it will cover such historical battles as Narvik and Tarawa (not the whole invasion, just part of it), and such hypothetical battles as an attack on the Panama Canal and die defense of Singapore. After that, in time for the summer conventions, CoA will release Biplanes and Battleships, a boxed game written by David Arneson, a noted game designer and longtime naval gamer. MiniaturesViking Forge has released another batch of miniatures. They are: Spanish-American War
