In Print The draft of Christoph Kluxen’s Baltic Arena is 90% complete, and will be available for Cold Wars ‘05. Jay Wissmann and Bill Madison are also making progress on the DoRS Forms booklet, which should be ready for the summer 2005 conventions. After that, we will begin pulling together Atlantic Navies and Stars & Stripes, our next planned CaS and Harpoon releases, respectively. For the Computer There have been a lot of “What’s Next?” questions from players following Ubisoft’s announcement that their computer Harpoon development program was officially canceled. We ’ve decided that the best course will be to develop the next version in-house, maintaining full control over the content and the pace of development. While this will be slower than using a larger developer/publisher,it has to be quicker than the last attempt, which began in 1997! Don Gilman will manage the effort, and you can check his new website, www.computerharpoon.com, for information.
