Harpoon High Tide is at the printers, although it’s been a fight getting it there. We brought on some extra reviewers, and they did their job. It will be out this summer. I’ll use High Tide as an explanation, but not an excuse, for the lateness of this issue of the SITREP. I normally start working on the April issue in February. This time I couldn’t even think about the SITREP until the end of March, and it’s mid-May as I write this. My apologies, and I’ll try much harder to have October’s issue match the calendar. Dave Schueler is working hard on Harpoon Naval Review ‘03. He’s still looking for articles. Contact him through Clash of Arms. Command At Sea Mighty Midgets is at the printers. Next up is Christoph Kluxen’s Baltic Arena, and Atlantic Navies after that. Baltic Arena will cover German and Soviet naval operations during WW II the Baltic. For the Computer SSI’s Harpoon 4 has been slipped to fall 2003. Watch www.ubi.com/US/ Games/Harpoon4 for developments. A New Magazine Everyone should look at Waypoint, the new magazine of the Harpoon computer gaming community. It discusses recently-posted scenarios, tactics, changes to the computer games, and naval warfare and technology.
