Harpoon and CaS

by Larry Bond

Harpoon

A new printing of the Harpoon 4 annexes has resulted in a completely updated and much improved booklet. It covers the same countries as the original annex booklet from 1996 to present day.

The Harpoon 4.1 Annex booklet costs $22 and is available now. South Atlantic War II has gone to the printers. In addition to the updated scenarios and Harpoon 4 stats for the British and Argentine ships, the supplement will feature the new Trilogy ground combat rules system.

This new rules set, which will be designated as Chapter 9 of Harpoon 4 , expands the amphibious combat rules into a full-featured ground combat system. It allows the players to become a brigade or divisional-level commander of a multi-day ground campaign.

The rules consider troop quality, combined arms factors, and emphasize fire and movement rather than attrition. Small-scale movement is abstracted so the player can focus on the big picture. Look for SAW II and the new ground combat rules this summer.

CaS

Mighty Midgets is close to draft. The rules are being polished and we hope to release it this fall.

Atlantic Navies is the new working title for our boxed supplement. It will include La Guerre Naval, Gruppe Nord, and an annex providing complete data on British ships and aircraft in WW II.

Computer Harpoon

SSI/Ubisoft has formally resumed development of computer Harpoon 4 .

Russo-Japanese War
