In PrintApology: I'm sorry that Harpoon Fourth Edition isn't out yet. It was supposed to be released for Christmas '94, but I did not get the manuscript to GDW on schedule. Both Chris and I are backed up with work. We are working to complete the game, and will let everyone know of the new publication date as soon as possible. Three supplements are being developed for Command at Sea. First, in response to intense demand, Clash of Arms will produce the Player's Handbook, a collection of all the charts and tables in the CaS Rules booklet. This will be a 32-page booklet costing about $4.95, and will be available in early March. Second, Ed Kettler is working on a Referee's Guide. This will be a step-by-step guide for running double-blind games. Another section provides rules for adding the fog of war to a refereed game: Pilot reports that aren't 100% accurate, communications problems, and so on. This 32-page booklet will be available by Origins in July. The third supplement will be Supermarina, by John Gresham and Mike Markowitz, covering the first half of the war in the Mediterranean. It has a great mix of surface actions, submarine and special warfare operations, as well as attacks like Taranto. It will appear in the third quarter of 1995 as a boxed game, with a revised rules set, included. As with Rising Sun, the individual components will also be available separately. On the ComputerHarpoon II is firmly under Capstone's wing. The first Battleset, Westpac, covering the Pacific (finally) came out in early December. Further products are planned. Harpoon Classic is now available on CDROM from Alliance in both DOS and Windows version. It includes an improved interface, digital sound, and inflight refueling. Anyone who has problems with copies of Alliance's earlier releases of Harpoon Classic should call them for updates. They are also widely available on the nets. MiniaturesViking Forge has incorporated a many new miniatures from the SeaBattle line. GHQ has released the following new items:
