Strela-2. Guidance: IRH. VSmall radar target. Min Rng: 0.4 nm. Max Alt: Low, Min alt: VLow. ROF = 1 msl per Engagement Turn. Speed 989 kts. When surfaced, SA-N-5 Grail launcher can be used by crewman from firing position in the sail. Stowage for six missiles. SAM. 2.3 (1st Gen). 4.1 nm per 15-second move phase. ATA rating of 3.0.

REMARKS Analog/Digital Fire Control System. Hull number is fictitious, but typical of those assigned to Charlie-series SSGNs. Planned design, with twice the SSM load of the Charlie II, apparently canceled in early 1970s. Typical TT loadout is 6 SET-65, 7 Type 53-65K, 2 Type 53-56, 2 MG-74 mobile decoys (half size), 1 SS-N-15a, 1 SS-NN-15b. Typically 4 of 16 SS-N-9s carried would have nuclear warheads. The specs came from Submarines with Cruise Missiles: Submarines Constructed and Unrealized Projects by A.N. Gusev.
