Notes:

A. All "H" numbers are for Humbrol enamels.
B. You can substitute H27 for H176, which has been discontinued.
C. Floquil and Polly S 5-P and 5-L are not correct, having a brownish cast. Floquil 5-N has a slight green tint which is wrong. Floquil and Polly S 5-N is a good match for 20-B Deck Blue, their 20-B is too dark. Only Polly S 5-H and 5-O are good off the rack.
D. All Federal Standard (FS) numbers match are Testor's Model Master paint numbers. Humbrol paints matching these numbers can be used. FS35045 has been discontinued. It was a Polly S color mixed with Testor's FS36076 acrylic.

The Bitter End

The commercial paint situation has improved greatly with the introduction of the Model Shipways and Badger paints. I have yet to try them, but hopefully I'll get a chance soon. I'd like to hear from painters on their current matches to paint chips for 1/2400 scale vessels so we can improve the visual aspects of naval gaming.
