Remarks: -28T is naval torpedo bomber version, -28U is trainer, -28R is tactical reconnaissance variant with wingtip fuel tanks and ELINT gear and cameras in the bomb bay. Over 400 built in the PRC as the H-5, production has ended by about 85 remain in service. Chinese aircraft are believed to be fitted with 2nd Gen decoys countermea-sures but are otherwise identical to the Russian version. Overload payload is 3000 kg, reduce ATA by additional 0.5, speed by additional 10%.
