Aviation Week, in addition to producing one of the most important magazines in the defense community, had an excellent web page at awgnet.com. Many people can't afford the subscription fee, but by checking their web page you can get a digest of important aviation and space related information and a lot of excellent illustrations. The sample comes from their coverage of the laser aircraft. GHQ's 1/2400 and Hallmark's 1/6000-scale miniatures are listed at a web site at www.lastsquare.com/minicat.html. This is part of the last squares game site, which looks to be an excellent place to order rules, miniatures, and other wargaming supplies. Brooks Rowlett gave me a headsup about an electronic warfare tutorial at www.goldcrows.org/ewntutor1.htm. It's a great way of learning about a very technical subject, accessible to anyone with the interest.. A new Harpoon II site is at www.nebonet.com/headhome/harpoon2/index.html The Rocky Mountain Harpoon II site provides news, scenarios, and data, as well as some nice photos. John Ivan Wiik has started the first "unofficial" Harpoon4 web page. It is located at http://home.sn.no/~jiw/hobbies/rpgs/harpoon/harpoon.html and is not only pretty good to look at, but includes a sample game description and several ship and aircraft forms. His is a new site, but John made an impressive start. Although this is an "unofficial" site, we will do what we can to support John, and I recommend anyone with an interest to visit. A Squadron, 10th Light Horse of the Australian Army had created an excellent world armed forces site at www.tempest.com.au/~spooner/foren1.htm. It covers the armed forces of over 40 foreign countries. Sometimes there is just one page, such as for India, and sometimes there are dozens, like there am for Australia, Canada, the UK and USA. Almost every country with any kind of military force is represented.
