The marker reads: "Here died as a hero on 14 October, 1806, Friedrich Wilhelm Magnus von Eberhardt, Major and Commander of Royal Prussian Infantry regiment Number 47. Von Grawert, born 8 Feb., 1755 in Ludwigsburg."

Another battlefield marker noting: "Marshal Lannes V Corps, 17,500 men and 24 cannon."

The original windmill still stands where Prussian General Grawert anchored his left flank.
