Towns Folk and Law Officers: Rumor of an outlaw raid on the bank while the banker is out of town at the fort. Town Marshall must place the citizens in positions to ambush the baddies. All must obey him!

Towns Folk and Law Officers: Prepare a reception in the saloon for the Japanese Ambassador who is touring the area. Mayor and Diamond Lil are in charge. Marshall should lock up Paddy, if he can catch him, because he shows the town in a bad light. John Wood has a toothache.

Towns Folk and Law Officers: All are to be in their normal places of business, with the Mayor running the bank. Crazy Mike at the fort on business and Paddy being brought to the Lord by the Preacher.

Miners: Must get their weekly gatherings to the bank from the mine.

Miners: After a hard week at the diggings all are celebrating in the saloon and they could get a little frisky if any of them dam' cow punchers are about.

Miners: Loaded with supplies must get back to their diggings.

Cattle Crew: While waiting to get their wages, four of the crew decide to become bounty hunters and go after the Dooley Gang. The other two guard the herd.

Cattle Crew: Move herd to the pasture down by the river. Leave one man on guard and then head for the saloon for some fun, especially if them pesky earthworms are about.

Outlaws: There is money in them there hills! Half the gang decide to rob the miners and the other half decide to run off some cattle.

Outlaws: Rumor has it the banker is out of town and the bank is full of money. Big Ron must plan an attack. None of his men must be in the town at the beginning of the game or the town folk will know what is going on.

Outlaw.: The Japanese Ambassador has piles of gold with him and only a small escorts Can spend the money better than him in the saloon.

Renegade Apache Indians: Blows in the Wind decides that he wants steak for his supper and so decides to raid the cattle drive.

Renegade Apache Indians: Either a raid on the Fort or to wipe out the Cavalry patrol would increase the band's prestige brine in more recruits.

Renegade Apache Indians: The Government has offered armistice. Groups traveling under a flag of truce will allowed to surrender at the nearest fort. The choice is yours- winter is coming.

Cavalry: You must guard the fort (2+ NPC characters for this protect the cattle buyer that is there and give an escort t the Japanese Ambassador when he reaches your area. The government has issued an armistice to the Renegade Indians who if traveling under a flag of truce will be allowed to surrender at the nearest fort. Your fort would be a nice prize for the Indians who have not been doing well at their hunting lately. Dooley Gang is operating in your area and rumor has it they intend to hit the bank in Harrisville, soon, where the Army payroll is kept.

Japanese Ambassador: Must head for the saloon after a successful Buffalo Hunt. His men despise guns (and round eyes). Survey Team: Must mark a route from the railhead towards the Port using Blue stones every 6". Each stonetmarker is worth 2 points.

VICTORY POINTS:
Bags of Gold worth 10 points each
3 bags of gold in bank
1 bag of gold in saloon
2 bags of gold at fort with cattle buyer
1 bag with Ambassador
1 bag in Hardware store
Cattle - worth ten points to all bar cowboys who if they lose 50% - lose game.
Outtlaws and Indians worth five points each. Big Ron and Chief 10 points
Fort - worth 50 points; cavalry lose it - lose game
Town buildings any not held by Town Folk or Allies worth 5 points.
Ambassador captured/killed - ten points. Japanese and cavalry lose game
Cavalry killed - Captain & sergeant five points; others two.
Marshall - five points; Deputies - three points.
Japanese Ambassador killed/captured - escort must commit hari-Kari.

START POINTS: No Apache Indians outside 1"; no others inside 1".
No outlaws or Japanese in 3". Cattleherd in 2, 5, or 6,
Survey in 6.
Indians setup last - they know the area!
