I was very disappointed in Paul Petri's article on sources for 20mm Napoleonic figures. After giving a fairly detailed rundown of sources for plastic figures, he completely dropped the ball on the lead figures(Editor's Note: I believe Paul's goal was to present information on plastic figures). To make up the difference, I offer the following list of manufacturers of 20mm Napoleonic lead miniatures. Unless noted, all figures are for 1808 to 1813. All are compatible with the 1/72, 1/76, HO plastic figues from Airfix, Revell, and ESCI. Horse prices include rider. Gun prices do not include crew unless noted. Figures are a little chunky, but interesting. Send two IRC for catalog. Good. The Complete Brigadier, Frying Pan and Blanket Amalgamated, 2283 Apache St., Mendota Heights, Minnesota 55120, U.S.A: This company makes a interesting line of figures for the US frontier, American War of Independence, Seven Years War, and the War of 1812. Of particular interest are their many wagons, siege guns, and a pontoon bridge, as well as Brits in stovepipe shakos. Foot 0.35; Horse 0.80; Gun 1.50.
