Wargames Foundry Mount Street, New Basford, Nottingham, N07 7HX, UK has released a new catalogue sheet showing a new range of French in Mexico 1861-1867. 36 infantry and 12 cavalry figures round out the range of this overlooked period with 3 of the Mexican infantry wearing sombreros possibly making them usable in Mexican-American War, Old West, or Pancho Villa scenarios. Also shown is an 18 figure range of 40mm American Civil War (yes 40mm!) infantry figures evidently designed to model either Union or Confederate. The Zulu Wars 1879 range has 5 new listings, 3 foot and 2 mounted while the 25mm Rorkes Drift Buildings range introduces The Storehouse a "true-scale replica of the 'actual' storehouse, not the one used in the film". The photo received is very impressive. 10 artillery pieces (from many periods) are shown as the latest releases in the SS range with 4 more due out soon. Finally, the 25mm Chinese 1939-1900 line is listed covering the Opium Wars, the Taiping Rebellion of 1951 ("the most bloody war until the Second World War"), the Anglo-French Rebellion of 1860, and the Boxer Rebellion of 1900. 35 figures are listed plus 2 ponies and 1 "jingal" with 2 crew. It is recommended to use the British and French figures from the Indian Mutiny Range, the Crimean War Range, and the Boer War Range. Wargames Foundry figures are also distributed by Peadragon Miniatures, 1549 Marview Dr., Westlake, Ohio 44145. Norman&, and Saxons (54 figures), Franco-Prussian War French Cavalry (7 figures), War of the Roses (85 figures), Crimean War (23 figures) and Marlborough's Army and Great Northern War (18 figures).
