(1) Tony Adams appears to be hosting monthly(?) games, I believe at GAMES PLUS hobby store in Chicago. Perhaps Tony could provide me with additional information regarding these games, They appear to be intended to increase area interest which would be a good thing. Have you seen those yellow signs more and more people seem to be putting in their rear car windows? Well, Tony sent me a hand-made one which states "ZULUS ON BOARD". (2) I have a copy of SOLDIER, Vol. 3, #2, Summer, 1973 which has about ten pages, some in color, of a diorama of the battle of Alamo with converted Airfix figures. If someone is really interested in it, let me know and I'll send it to you for the price of the postage. Send note to MWAN. (3) Kevin Hendryz, our new "movie" editor for MWAN has an upcoming article "Camerone" scheduled for publication in the April, 1987 issue of MILITARY HISTORY magazine. (4) Michael Creek of Anaheim, CA writes "I belong to the panzerleader wargamers club. Recently on Monday nights, some of us have been playing modern micro armor games in Downey, CA. We have a 7 X 16 foot sandtable; one recent game lasted three sessions. The table is in a member's garage I we can continue long games that way." (5) Tom Field of Elk Grove Village, IL reports that he has been involved in 15mm ACW using Rally Round the Flag; Starfleet Battles, Medieval/fantasy in 25mm and plans to expand to Micro armor, French Foreign Legion, Napoleonics, all in 15mm and Wooden Ships & Iron Men with miniatures; 16th C. Samurai, perhaps Colonial and/SYW. He states they have a very loose group that meets every other week in Chicago and plays primarily AD & D for want of space but that he would like to get more involved in miniatures (historical) and he likes quick, easy rule sets. (6) Due to other committments, I have been unable to attend our monthly hospital games as of late and Greg Principato or Rich Black have been kind enough to run them for me. In November I understand we had our first non-historical miniatures game with Jim Torello holding a Starguard Robot game which was well-attended and everyone was nice to Jim! I haven't had time to get together a schedule of games for January 1987 on, but will get busy on that. I will add that we have been attracting around 25 gamers per night and have gone to three games because of that. The games are held at Oak Forest Hospital, 15900 S. Cicero Ave., Oak Forest, IL and further info can be obtained from me by writing to MWAN. (7) MWAN members who have published elsewhere during the last several months are as follows:
