1) Dave Latz of Chicago, Illinois writes "I am currently working on some
fast and easy rules (based on Ral Partha's RULES ACCORDING TO RAL) for use with Samurai 15mm. I'd like to use them to run beginner's games at conventions to get more people interested in our hobby."
2) David Raybin, 912 Neartop Drive, Nashville, Tenn. 37205 reports that his local group is currently gaming in the Crimean War, Franco-Prussian War, ACW, and Wooden Ships & Iron Mon. (Editor's Notet would like to see some articles, David, on the Crimean War & Franco-Prussian War as regards
rules/figures/organization/etc.)
3) I have put together the results of the survey enclosed with MWAN two
issues ago. Fifty-nine people returned the survey portion or answered it. The mean totals for each of MWAN's regular columns was as such: Editorial (8.14); Upcoming Events (7.48); Wargaming Magazines (7.19); Sutler's Wagon (8.19); Sits & Pieces (9-03); MWAN News (8.00); and interview With A Wargamer (7.93). Thanks to those who responded.
By the way, this was based on a ten point scale. I did this because I felt I was getting too many regular columns in MWAN and felt that if any of them scored low, I would drop them, however, all of them were fairly equal in my opinion so they will all stay.
