The Courier: Vol. VI, #3 in hand. Theme issue of History of Sailing Tactics continues. Articles on naval flags (1792-1815), Sudan Railway, Wally Simon's Skirmish article on "reaction" in skirmish rules, several Napoleonic articles, a campaign set of rules which looks good, and a nice review of LITTLE WARS 85 by MWAN member Bob Beattie of Ann Arbor, Michigan. $14 for six issues to The Courier, Box. 1878, Brockton, MA 02403.

The Nugget: Journal of Wargame Developments, #28 and 29 in hand. No cost info but write to Bob Cordery, 50 Booth Close, Thamesmead, London, England SE28. I really enjoyed this publication, finding lots of interesting wargaming ideas. Check it out.

Miniature Wargames: #29 on hand. As Howard Whitehouse describes it, "the wargamer's PLAYBOY". Great pictures (color) as usual, very interesting reading, devoted to historical miniatures gaming. I get lots of tips from the color pictures as regards terrain/buildings is concerned. Available at hobby stores.

P.W. Review: Nov and Dec 85 issues in hand. Articles on rules, terrain (mine), skirmish WWII gaming by MWAN'er J.J. Mathews concerning New Guinea where my Dad spent three years as a combat infantryman; another article by a MWAN'er Bill McHarg on skirmish gaming; a solo game for TSATF on an ambush, Wally wrote one on command problems, and a wild west skirmish.
