RSM, Ltd., 513 Maxwell Street, Lexington, KY, 40502 has released the fine line of 30mm figures formerly produced by Pax Britannica of England. Ral Partha is doing the casting and has done a great job, as we have grown to expect from them. The line covers the SYW period and includes French (18 foot; 7 mounted), Scots (6 foot), Jacobites (3 foot), Prussians (9 foot, 2 horse), British (21 foot, 7 horse), Naval figures (4), and North Americans (9 rangers, courier du bois, and indians) as well as guns and limbers. These figures are very well detailed and animated with great anatomy. They look as though they will be easy to paint and will look great in the CHARGE project. I must admit that I decided not to join the CHARGE project figuring that I had more than enough figures to paint and periods to worry about but after looking at the samples, I am going to get involved and paint up a British type army. Priced at .70 for a foot figure and $1.40 for a mounted figure and horse, they are very inexpensive. They also make one Austrian foot figure and have plans to expand this great range. Highly recommended. By January of 1986 they hope to offer 30mm American Revolution, 20mm Napoleonics, 20mm ACW, and 20mm Colonials and Imperialists. Hope to hear more from this fine company! $1 for catalog & samples.
