WARGAMES FOUNDRY by Ken Bunger, Omaha, Nebraska: I've been buying quite a few English Civil War figures from WARGAMES FOUNDRY,21 Villers Rd., Woodthorpe, Nottingham England, NG5 4FB. These figures are the best I've ever seen. They are designed by the same fellows who did Citadel's great War of the Roses and Wars of Religion ranges. They are equal in size to Essex, but better proportioned (although I also love the Essex ranges). Each figure comes with several head variations. The ECW lowland Scots and assorted civilian types are even better than their first releases. I highly recommend these figures. ZODIAC CASTING by Glenn Bednarek. New Berlin. Wisconsin: I have received some resin castings from Zodiac Casting, 83 Canning St., Liverpool, England, L8 7NW and they are far below par. The castings I received were all either buildings or vehicles and many of them came in bad shape. A Vietnam outpost was rather nice at one time but came in so many pieces that mine makes a great destroyed command outpost. A modern US truck had so many pock holes/marks on it that I deemed it unusable unless given a thorough workover with putty. A Japanese tankette came through in about three extra pieces as well. The 5mm buildings and terrain accessories I bought were very nice. He also makes a large selection of WWII figures. At 18p each I assume they are 20mm. He makes over 60 German figures alone.
