PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE BATTLETHE CAVALRY FIGHT Figures are Hinchliffe and Stone Mountain. The British were badly outnumbered, but their superior morale (C vs. D) enabled them to hang on until the 3rd round of combat before they finally broke and scattered off the field. This was the only bright spot for the Americans during the battle. THE FIREFIGHT The 1st Pennsylvania (Grade D) and the 8th Virginia (Grade E) start to volley against the 84th Royal Highland Emigrants (Grade A), at a murderous range of 30 paces. Behind them, Morgan's and the Rhode Islanders begin their "end run" at the rear of Williams, while the 17th grimly defends against the Continental dragoons. The Highlanders needed a 6-10 to hit, while the Americans needed a 9 and a 10 respectively to hit. So who won? You do the math.
