Mark was kind enough to send three figure samples for review to MagWeb.com: two from the American Revolution and one from Fall of France. All of them came well-formed and cleanly cast. The Fall of France figure has a slight crest of flash that took all of two nanoseconds to remove with a knife. American Revolution At first I thought them 25mms, but the more I looked, the more I thought 28mms. Then I fetched one of those ubiquitous MagWeb.com rulers and measured. From the soles of the feet to the eyes was between 29mm and 30mm. From the soles of the feet to the tip of the bayonet measures 52mm. As you can tell from the accompanying images, the figures feature lots of accountrements such as canteen, pouch, short sword, cartridge box, and so on. The facial expressions are rather calm. Fall of France The Frenchmen seems a little shorter, but mostly because of the optical illusion caused by the tall bayonets. From the soles of the feet to the top of the helmet is 31mm. From the soles of his feet to the eyes is 27mm, but note that his posture leans forwards slightly. And well he should, considering the load he's bearing--backpack, pouches, and the rest--all well done and tailor made for the brush. The Look An image can speak a thousand words, so here are two--front and back of the miniatures--to speak two thousand. And if that is not enough, here are two more: highly recommended.
