Robert Hagerty has released seven 1806 Prussian figures in 27mm scale: PN1: officer with Sword; PN2: Flagbearer; PN3: Musketeer Drummer; PN4: Musketeer Advancing; PN5: Grenadier NCO; PN6: Grenadier Drummer; N7: Grenadier. All came well done, and measuring from the bottom of the feet to the eyes finds scale size to be 28-29mm, depending on the figure. There's minimal flash on the figures, though the base bottoms need a bit of filing to become flat, and the figures are nicely animated. Advancing figures include a number of pouches, scaks, boxes, and other acoutrements hanging off belts. The Grenadiers all have moustaches, the others are clean shaven, and all have long hair wrapped into a ponytail in back. The Officers wave short swords over their heads. The flagbearer comes without a flag. If there's a nit to pick, it's that the Grenadier Drummer seems to be missing his drum with his left drumstick--it's protruding over the rim into the air. The Musketeer Drummer's got the right beat, if close to the rim. These are fine additions to the Demi-Brigades line (1794-1806), and he has French and Austrian figures also available. Pricing is $1.25 each, with $4 for postage (UK and European orders add 30% for postage). Order direct from Robert Hagarty at: 229 N 2nd St. Apt. C, Elkhart, IN 46516 USA (219293-4398 after 4:00pm CST; www.melees.com).
