Just up on DORKTOWER.COM is NEWBIES, a new comic strip which I created along with my good friend and longtime cartooning partner Liz Rathke.

NEWBIES will run Saturdays here at DORKTOWER.COM. And starting in January, it will run monthly in CONNECTED HOMES magazine, from Penton Publishing (Windows2000 magazine, etc.)

NEWBIES differs from DORK TOWER in a number of ways. Mostly, the characters have four fingers on each hand, which I feel is a giant leap forward for my work. Of course, it took Liz's artistic skills to make this leap...

Newbies is the tale of Adrian and Malcolm, Jules and Madison, Ian, Derf and Radar Bob, a group of twenty- and thirtysomethings all trying to make it in the post dot-com economy.

In two weeks, DORK TOWER will return to regular Monday-Wednesday-Friday appearances here at DORKTOWER.COM, and NEWBIES will run Saturdays. But in the meantime, I hope you enjoy these introductory strips for NEWBIES. Both Liz and I are VERY proud of them.
