1) THE SMALL PRESS EXPO (Bethesda. Md., Sept. 15-17). Unfortunately, due to the fact that Dork Tower #11, the Dork Covenant Trade Paperback AND the Chez Geek expansion set all have to go to print this week, I won't be able to make it out to Bethesda this year. Two days driving there and two days driving back is a big chunk of time at the moment...and there's no real time to find a cheap plane ticket. Gaaaaaah. This is the one con I would LOVE to be at. Elena Steier who would have been helping at the Dork Tower booth there, will now be there with all my stuff on her own. Please shower her with any junk food you would me, and buy her any margaritas you would have me. :-) For more info on the Small Press Expo, go to http://www.spxpo.com/ 2) Fall Con (Minneapolis, Sept. 16, 17). Since I have to be up north this weekend for that family commitment, I *will* be able to pop into Fall Con in Minneapolis, at the Thunderbird Inn. For more info on Fall Con, go to http://www.sourcecandg.com The OTHER cons I'll be at this Autumn are: 3) Shorecon (Cherry Hill, NJ (near Philadelphia) Sept. 29-Oct.1) I'm one of three guests of honor here. I've heard a ton of great things about this convention, and I can't wait to get there. I may also do a comic signing at a local store the Monday atrewards. Details pending... 4) Mile High Con (Denver, Oct. 20-22). I'm the Artist Guest of Honor here. I have to give a speech. Gaaaah! 5) Rock Con (Rockford, IL., Nov. 4, 5). I've been made a guest of honor here for life. So do show up and try and fool them into thinking they haven't made a horrible, horrible mistake... 6) Dragonmeet (London, Nov. 25) I'll be the Guest of Honor. This is my first such overseas gig, and I'm thrilled that it's in the land of my birth.
