Convention Schedule 2000

by John Kovalic

Well, I'm about to start my convention season death march. Here's where I'll DEFINITELY be:

Origins (mid-July)
San Diego Comic Con (along with Aaron Williams) (late July)
Wizard World Chicago (along with Aaron Williams) (early August)
GenCon (along with Aaron Williams) (mid-August)
Small Press Expo (mid-September)

I've also been invited to Shorecon and RockCon as a guest, and Mile High Con, in Denver in late October, where I'll be the Artist Guest of Honor. I'm really geeking out on this, since the writer guests include Ben Bova, C. Dean Andersson, and Spider and Jeanne Robinson! I mean, like -- wow! Really! THAT is some company to be in! Dork Tower Egyptian Campaign T-Shirts

Speaking of conventions -- a couple of months ago I was invited to Egyptian Campaign -- a GREAT convention in Carbondale, IL. -- as the Guest of Honor. It was a fabulous time, and I'd like to thank the organizers for their kindness.

They asked me to do up some T-shirts, and I think they turned out rather spiffy. They feature Igor, Carson and Gilly the Perky Goth dressed up in ancient Egyptian garb. They turned out rather well, if I do say so myself, and are on 100% cotton, beige cloth.

Anyhoo, the organizers still have a few left. over. Thirty XL and 5 L t-shirts left, to be precise. They're available for $7 (!) each, plus $3 shipping and handling. So if you ever wanted a DEAD cheap DORK TOWER T-shirt, here's your chance!

Just e-mail Egyptian Campaign director Scot Keene at ScotMKeene@aol.com for details. I'll see if I can't put a JPG of them up at http://kovalic.com in the meantime.
