DORK TOWER #7, reprints of DORK TOWER #1, DORK TOWER #3 go to the printer soon. It's true. The last pages are almost done on "A Very Dorky Christmas," and the reprints of #1 and #3 are going to press at the same time. These are limited-run second printings, so they may be harder to find. With the trade paperback scheduled for sometime next year, nobody wants to be stranded with a ton of comic books then. But this means all the books should still be available up to that point. DT7 will feature a return to Matt's Middle Earth campaign, a *very* special guest appearance by Aaron Williams' "Nodwick," as well as "Dealer's Doom," and a FREE THREE-D MICROGAME from those fine folks at MicroTactix Games. DT1 will have a slightly different cover (check the color of the die, and Igor's T-Shirt). DT3 will be much the same, but with a differnt color title. Upcoming schedule: DORK TOWER #1 (reprinting "Heart of Dorkness"), DORK TOWER #3 (reprinting "Global Village Idiot) and DORK TOWER #7 (November/December 1999; "A Very Dorky Christmas") should ship the second week of December. DORK TOWER # 8 (January/February 2000; "High Sobriety") will ship January 5
DORK TOWER Trade Paperback (Late Spring or Early Summer 2000; as yet no working title; Collecting issues one through six of Dork Tower) DORK TOWER #12 (September/October 2000) ("Dork Shadows" - The Goths return for the annual Halloween issue) Minneapolis Signing, Nov. 26 For anyone I haven't scared away from the Twin Cities, I'll be at The Source, in Minneapolis, Friday, November 26, from 4-7 p.m. As I noted before, any MUSKRAT-L folks in the area, PLEASE stop by. I'll be playing APPLES to APPLES, have some previews of DORK TOWER #7, be doing some sketching, and in general be trying to do anything to avoid looking like nobody's shown up. There'll be copies of DORK TOWER #2-6 on hand, WILD LIFE collections, MURPHY'S RULES collections, SITH PARK T-Shirts and me, looking rather foolish. C'mon down. For more info, e-mail BobSource@aol.com. Dork Tower in Portuguese! Ahem. Last newsletter, I made the heinous error of saying that an Argentinean company wanted to translate DORK TOWER into Portuguese. This would be bizarre, inasmuch as they speak Spanish in Argentina. Of course, I meant a Brazilian company.
