4. Notes

    a) Radios are in all CHQs and above, may be down to tank PHQs.
    b) Infantry have Type 3 A/T grenades.
    c) Medium Tank is Type 97 Chi-Ha, Type 97 Shinhoto Chi-Ha, Type 1 Chi-He or Type 3 Chi-Nu.
    d) Light Tank is Type 95 Ha-Go or Type 98 Ke-Ni, up to 2 Companies of Type 2 Ke-To, or in 1945, can be Type 4 Ke-Nu.
    e) In the Tank Regiment and Brigade HQs at least one Medium Tank is Type 97 Shi-Ki command tank.
    f) Up to one Motorised Battalion can replace trucks with Type 1 Ho-Ki APC.
    g) The Division has 1 Tank Group of 3 Tank Regiments, and 1 Motorised Brigade of 3 battalions.
    h) Four such divisions existed in Asia, one being sent to the Philippines in 1944 without its Recce Regiment.
