4. Air Force Notes

    At the time of the pro-German uprising in April 1941, the Iraqi Air force had 60 planes, including 15x Douglas A-17, 24+ Hawker Fury, numbers of Tiger Moths, Hawker Audax, Dragon Rapide bombers, and unknown Italian types. In addition Luftwaffe aid included Me-109s and Me-110s, of which few were operational.

5. Notes

    a) There are no radios available. Infantry have no A/T grenades.
    b) Organisation details are provisional. It is known that there were 4 infantry divisions, each of 3 Brigades each of 3-4 battalions. It is known that Iraqi units used much British equipment.
    c) Iraqi forces fought against Commonwealth forces in April-May 1941.
