4. Notes

    a) Radios are in all AFV and other PHQ.
    b) Infantry squads have Hawkins A/T grenades.
    c) A/C is Daimler II or Humber III or Humber IV. Humber Light Recce can be replaced by Wheeled Carrier I.P. MK.IIA.
    d) 6pdr has APDS and HE. l7pdr has APCBC and HE, and APDS from 1945. 2pdr and 37mm M6 have APCBC and HE. One Daimler II per platoon can be armed with Squeezebore firing APCNR.
    e) The division has 3 infantry brigades each of 4 battalions, with one brigade having an extra battalion of AT2 Ghurkas, armed with Kukris, but with no Carrier platoon. At least one of the brigades had the Stuart Squadron.
    f) All units can be motorised if desired.
    g) During January-March 1944 the division came under the 2nd New Zealand Corps at Cassino, hence uses Corps support from list NZ1. After March 1944, use Corps and Army support from list B5.
