4. Notes

    a) Radios are in Regiment HQs, may be in CHQs from 1944.
    b) Infantry have no A/T grenades until 1944, when possibly could use American M9A1 rifle A/T grenades.
    c) The division has 2 or 3 Algerian or Moroccan Regiments each of 3 battalions.
    d) This list is provisional, and should be used for Algerian and Moroccan divisions used in Tunisia, Italy and Southern France.
    e) American equipment not definitely used, it is unlikely that the 25mm A/T and AA guns were taken to France and Italy in 1944. In Tunisia some Free French units had British equipment, so it is possible that A/T guns are 2pdr, AA guns are 40mm Bofors and that 81mm mortars are replaced by 3".
