4. Notes

a) Radios are in all AFV and other PHQ.
b) Infantry squads have Hawkins 75 A/T grenades.
c) Several Cromwells in the 2nd Welsh Guards Armoured Recce Regiment have AA mount for single Bren AALMG with 100 round magazine or twin Vickers K AALMG.
d) The Division has the 5th Guards Armoured Brigade of the Grenadier Guards Battlegroup and the Irish Guards Battlegroup; the 32nd Motorised Infantry Brigade of the Coldstream Guards Battlegroup and the Welsh Guards Battlegroup, plus the 2nd Household Cavalry Armoured Car Regiment at division attached from Corps.
e) Divisional Artillery OPs are in Sherman V-OP or Universal Carriers or trucks.
f) If the war had continued into June 1945, then at least one Armoured Squadron would have received some Centurion I tanks.
g) Some Daimler II may have Littlejohn Adaptor firing APCNR squeezebore rounds.
h) It is possible that one Carrier Section in each Infantry Battalion had Wasp IIc flamethrower carriers.
i) It is probable that the 94th Light AA Regiment converted towed AA Batteries into infantry companies as shown.
j) The 21st Anti-tank Regiment in effect became another teeth arm unit, with each M10 Anti-tank Battery acting as tanks paired with an infantry company formed from the 17pdr towed gun Anti-tank batteries.
k) During the Reichwald battles in early 1945 the Division was temporarily reorganised as:
