4. Notes

a) Radios are in all tanks and armoured cars, Carrier PHQs, and other CHQs.
b) Infantry squads have No.74 or Hawkins 75 A/T grenades.
c) The 11th Armoured Division has the 29th Armoured Brigade of the 23rd Hussars, 3rd RTR, 2nd Fife & Forfar Yeomanry Armoured Regiments and 8th Battalion Rifle Brigade Motor Battalion; and the 159th Lorried Infantry Brigade of 3rd Monmouthshire, 4th Kings Shropshire Light Infantry and 1st Herefordshire Infantry Battalions; the 15th/19th Hussars divisonal Armoured Recce Regiment, and the Inns of Court Armoured Car Regiment attached from Corps
d) In practice the two brigades swapped units to form four battlegroups each of one infantry battalion and one armoured regiment as and when desired.
e) In April 1945 the 3rd Monmouthshire Infantry Battalion was replaced by the 1st Battalion Cheshire Regiment.
f) Diamler II can have Littlejohn squeezebore attachment firing APCNR.
g) Two OP per Artillery Regiment are in Cromwell OP tanks, the rest are in Universal Carriers.
h) The 15th/19th Hussars did not receive Comets until April 1945, and appear to have retained their Challengers.
i) The 75th Anti-Tank Regiment now acted as a combined arms battlegroup, and can be considered as teeth arm.
j) 3rd RTR appears to have a tank fitted with a dozer blade.
