4. Notes

a) Radios are in all tanks and armoured cars, Carrier PHQs, and other CHQs.
b) Infantry squads have No.74 or Hawkins 75 A/T grenades.
c) The 11th Armoured Division has the 29th Armoured Brigade of the 23rd Hussars, 3rd RTR, 2nd Fife & Forfar Yeomanry Armoured Regiments and 8th Battalion Rifle Brigade Motor Battalion; and the 159th Lorried Infantry Brigade of 3rd Monmouthshire, 4th Kings Shropshire Light Infantry, 1st Herefordshire Infantry Battalions; and the 2nd Northamptonshire Yeomanry divisonal Armoured Recce Regiment.
d) In June 1944 3rd RTR appeared to have 5x Firefly and 13x Sherman V in C Squadron, 24 tanks in B Squadron, 13x Stuart V in the Recce Troop and a Sherman Dozer in the RHQ.
e) By mid-July after Operation Goodwood most Tank Squadrons were reduced to 4-5 tanks.
