4. Notes

a) Radios are in all tanks and armoured cars, and other PHQs.
b) Infantry squads may have Hawkins 75 A/T grenades.
c) The 7th Armoured Division has the 131st Queens Infantry Brigade of the 1st/5th, 1st/6th, 1st/7th Infantry Battalions left in Tobruk; the 22nd Armoured Brigade of the 1st RTR Armoured Regiment (it having received all the tanks of the 4th CLY and 5th RTR) and the 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade Motor Battalion, and the 4th Light Armoured Brigade was re-attached with the 1st KR RC Motor Battalion, 4th South African Armoured Car Regiment, and one composite Armoured Regiment from Scots Greys and 4/8th Hussars. At division there is the 11th Hussars Armoured Car Regiment.
d) This list shows the division's approximate strength from 14th to 25th November 1942 in the pursuit across Cyrenaica During this period the 131st Brigade was in Tobruk on harbour clearance duties.
e) Artillery OP is in Universal Carrier, truck, turretless Marmon-Herrington, or Stuart III tank.
f) Issue of Bishops and Deacons is not certain, may be replaced by towed equivalent.
g) There were enough tank transporters to move all of 1st RTR, when fuel allowed.
