4. Notes

a) Radios are in CHQs and above.
b) Infantry have no A/T grenades until 1941 when M9A1 rifle A/T grenades become available.
c) The Division has 3 Regiments each of 3 battalions.
d) From late 1940 the 75mm M1897 artillery can be replaced by 75mmL40 M2A2 or 105mm M2A1.
e). The 155mm M1918 can be replaced by Schneider M1917 howitzers, and from Oct'41 can be 155mmL20 M1.
f) the organisation of the infantry battalion is provisional.
g) 37mm M3A1 has AP and canister.
h) M2 halftracks not available before September 1941.
