2 Somali Irregular Companies

    25 rifle sqds, obsolete rifles, swords, spears, company leader on horse

2nd Ethiopian Battalion

    Bttn HQ: 1 rifle sqd
    2 Companies@
      CHQ: 1 rifle sqd, 1 Boys
      3 platoons@ 3 rifle sqds, 2 LMG
      1 Platoon: 2 MMG

2+ Abyssinian Patriot Companies

    CHQ: 1 leader on horse, standard bearer
    3 platoons@ 50 men, spears, obsolete Martini-Henry rifles

2. Notes

    a) Radios are in all Bttn HQs only.
    b) Infantry squads have no A/T grenades.
    c) Possibly up to 2 batteries each of 4x 3.7" Mountain Guns with pack mules could be added.
    d) These forces had to defend the Kenyan-Abyssinian border from Italian incursions from July 1940.
