6. Notes

a) Radios are at DHQ, if at all.
b) Infantry have no anti-armour weapons.
c) The Regular Division has 2 Infantry Brigades each of 2 Regiments each of 4 battalions; and one Reserve Infantry Brigade of 2 Regiments each of 4 battalions.
d) In 1912 there were 3 Army HQs sharing 8 Infantry Divisions and 3 Reserve Infantry Divisions.
e) Reserve Divisions have 2 Reserve Infantry Brigades each of 2 Regiments each of 3 battalions, equipped with Berdan M1871 11mm rifles.
f) In 1913 the Army had increased to five Army HQs, but by 1915 had altered to 3 Army HQ sharing 9 Infantry Divisions and 4 Reserve Infantry Divisions, some with more modern artillery.
g) In October 1915 Bulgaria joined the Axis powers, invading Serbia.
