3 batteries@ 4x 75mm M1905 Krupp field guns, horse limbers
4. Divisional Support
Up to:
1 Cavalry Detachment: RHQ: 2 rifle squads, horses
6 Cavalry Squadrons@ SHQ: 2 rifle squads, horses
3 Troops@ 5 rifle squads, sabres, lances, horses
1 Artillery Group: BHQ: 6 rifle squads, horses, wagons
3 batteries@ 4x 75mm M1905 Krupp field guns, horse limbers
2 batteries@ 4x 15cm howitzers in theory, horse limbers
Engineer Detachment: 3 Companies@ 200? men
a) Radios are in Brigade HQ and above. Infantry have no anti-armour weapons.
b) The six Infantry Divisions each have 3 Infantry Brigades each of two Regiments each of three Infantry Battalions.
c) Only one divisional artillery group had 15cm howitzers, the rest used old 120mm St Chamond howitzers or more 75mm Krupp M1905 field guns.
d) Details are provisional.
e) There were also two separate Mobile Brigades, the 13th Namur and 14th Liege Brigades, possibly on cycles.
