4. Notes

    a) No radios available.
    b) In 1914 there were 13 Regiments on the Mexican border, 1 in the US, 2 in the Philippines, and 1 in Hawaii. By 1917 there were 9 Regiments on the Mexican border, forming into the 15th Cavalry Division in late 1917.
    c) The Cavalry Division has 3 Brigades each of 3 Cavalry Regiments, 1-2 attached infantry Regiments, each of 3 battalions.
    d) Cavalry Regiments each have 3 Squadrons.
