6. Notes

a) Each cavalry squadron has paper strength of 177 men, or 186 men if Hussars.
b) Infantry regiments have 1 Regular Bttn of 1 Grenadier & 4 Musketeer coys; 1 Regular Bttn and 2 Reinforcement Bttns each of 1 Jager & 4 Musketeer coys; each company has 160 men on paper.
c) Jager Korps in 1813 have 4 companies each of 132 men, half equipped with rifles.
d) Sharpshooters are skirmishers armed with improved muskets, at 4 companies each of 132 men per bttn.
e) Reinforcement units were in practice permanently mobilised, so are as experienced as Regular units.
